You know the building codes, how to handle asbestos, what OSHA requires on the jobsite, and how the State Patrol enforces the laws related to your drivers and vehicles. But what do you know about the risks – and the possible rewards – associated with your HR policies and practices?
Very few companies in the construction industry have full-time HR professionals on staff. An owner, CFO, or office manager will typically take on these responsibilities, usually with little or no training. Yes, they can look to their payroll processing company or their insurance agency for some help, but is that enough?
This program is designed for the owners/managers of your company responsible for HR decisions and the person(s) responsible for day-to-day activities and compliance. Contractors and Associates are encouraged to attend.
The program features presentations by Matt Bucher (HNI Risk Services) regarding the Affordable Care Act, an update on the NRCA health insurance program, a discussion of how to recruit and retain the next generation workforce led by Andrea Tarrell (HNI Risk Services), and a presentation by Attorney Dave McClurg (Petrie & Stocking) regarding recent changes to the laws and administrative rules and practical approaches to complying.
Come to this program and you’ll walk away with “real world” solutions you can implement today! A reception follows the program.
