NRCA has been working closely with The Center for Construction Research and Training to develop an assessment tool that provides feedback about how to strengthen the job-site safety climate for roofing contractors.  Come to this program to:

    • Understand the Center’s S-Cat survey,
    • Learn how to use the survey to improve your own program,
    • Recognize the eight leading indicators necessary to improve your jobsite safety climate and increase your safety performance, and
    • Determine how to change and improve your safety program.

Our speaker is Richard Trewyn, Director of Enterprise Risk Management for the NRCA.   Before joining NRCA in 2015, Rich was the national safety director for Tecta America ( Rosemont, IL).  He began his career F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing Company in 1996.  With a degree in occupational safety and health from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater and his numerous certificates and certifications within the safety field, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to NRCA and our meeting.

Rich is an authorized trainer for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s 10- and 30-hour construction safety classes and a CERTA trainer of torch-applied system classes. He also teaches NRCA’s fall-protection and CERTA train-the-trainer classes.

We encourage you to come to this informative meeting!
