Our September Membership Meeting is packed with information you need!  After the reception, we’ll welcome Michael Mazmanian, Operations Director – Development Center and Trades Division, City of Milwaukee – Department of Neighborhood Services, to provide us with an update regarding the City’s roofing permitting requirements and process.

Later, we’ll welcome representatives from MenetAero to talk about the use of drones in the roofing industry.  Among other uses, drones can be used in pre-bid project reviews, for inspections, and for thermal imaging.  Find out the latest about the technology and how you can use it safely and in compliance with FAA regulations.  You’ll learn from a project manager and an expert in thermography and have plenty of time to ask your questions.

During the wrap-up, we’ll provide a short update regarding the new Wisconsin Commercial Building Code and its impact on roofers, in anticipation of a more in-depth discussion at our November 7 meeting when Mark Graham (NRCA) will be our speaker.

We encourage you to come to this informative meeting and to invite non-member guest to attend as well.
