On January 17, the Chicago Roofing Contractors Association will be holding its annual tradeshow and seminars and we’ve arrange for a bus to take our members and their guests to the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace on Thursday, where you can expect to see more than 150 exhibitors! Why bother with the hassle of driving, tolls, and parking when you can enjoy the company of your peers from the roofing industry?
We’ll pick up at the Germantown Park & Ride (10:45 a.m.) off U.S. 41/Highway 45 (see map below).
We’ll pick up at the North/West College Avenue Park & Ride in Milwaukee (11:30 a.m.) off I-94/College Avenue (see map below).
Lunch and beverages will be served on the bus and you’ll be dropped off at the Conference Center around 1:00 p.m., giving you about three hours to walk the show. We’ll board the bus again and make our way back to Wisconsin, stopping for dinner at the Brat Stop and returning you to the Park & Rides around 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.
Please note that you must register separately for the CRCA Trade Show. To register, click HERE. The show is free to attend. Registration through WRCA covers the cost of the bus, lunch, dinner, and refreshments on the bus. (A donation for the driver gratuity is encouraged.)

One of our most popular and well-attended meetings of the past several years has been a roundtable discussion among the various technical representatives working with the roofing industry in Wisconsin, so we’ve asked that group to join us again to discuss insights relevant to the Wisconsin market.
This will be a moderated program with questions being posed to our panelists. Panelists include representatives from Carlisle, Firestone, Johns Manville, Mulehide, and GAF. Other companies may still be added.
We encourage you to come to this informative meeting! Non-Member guests are welcome.

The Wisconsin Roofing Contractors Association (WRCA) and the Wisconsin Chapter of International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) invite you to attend a Joint Meeting of the associations. We’ll start with an optional tour of Gaco Western in Waukesha. From there, it’s a short ride (3 minutes) to Tally’s Pub and Eatery where we’ll have time to network before we begin our presentation.
We will discuss the various types of roof coatings, differentiate between application methods, while outlining the advantages and disadvantages of each system. The goal is to provide an understanding of when and where each system can be viewed as a viable option and what can be expected in regard to overall performance. This program qualifies for 1 hour of credit for AIA/CES Learning Unit, Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW).
Our speaker is Dan Knutson, North Central Distribution Manager, GacoFlex Division. Dan has been with Gaco since 2010. He is a native of Pewaukee and served as Gaco’s North Florida rep from 2012-2016, returning home in the Summer of 2016 to cover the Chicagoland and Wisconsin territories. Since then, his territory has expanded to include Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. When he’s not working, Dan is all about baseball!
Following the presentation, there will be an open forum and announcements by each association. We’ll adjourn at 5:30 p.m. with the option to continue to network at Tally’s.
